Database Administrator (Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle)

Position Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic Database Administrator (DBA) to join our growing technical team.

Applicants will be required to perform DBA Support, Administration and Consultancy services to a wide variety of clients across multiple industry sectors running multiple database versions.

Technical Experience, at a minimum, should include;

System design and build
High availability
Replication
Backups and Restores
Maintenance plan configuration and management
Database Security
Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques
Wide general IT knowledge

Individual Characteristics;

Strong logical and methodical investigative skills
Ability to learn and understand new methods of support provision
Work closely as part of a team
Good verbal and written communications
Value accuracy in their work
High levels of responsibility
